AC/DC's Brian Johnson Track Released
Among the many tracks he produced last year as part of his work for The Northumbria Anthology, Jed has a special fondness for a version of 'Byker Hill' which he arranged and produced with singer Brian Johnson of AC/DC. Brian is a proud Geordie himself, of course, and the two days' sessions at Northern Recording were a rollicking, hardworking time. Brian's old bandmates from Geordie,Dek Rootham (lead guitar) and Dave Robson (bass) turned in stellar performances to help restore this classic song to its rightful status as a Geordie anthem. The track has now been released alongside performances of NE songs by Sting, Jimmy Nail, The Hush and others on the Anthology sampler 'From Tyne To Tweed' (MWMCD SP52).
