Solo album finally released
Jed's new solo release Head On is to be launched at Cleckheaton Folk Festival on July 6th. Jed is appearing with his band The Hush, and will perform songs from the new album, before signing copies of the CD at The Hush merchandising stall.
Head On is a collection of traditional and self penned songs and tunes, with many of the songs originating in Jed's native NE England. On some tracks, Jed is joined by members of The Hush, and elsewhere are collaborations with members of the celebrated borders band Tarras. The blend of Jed's vocals, acoustic and electric guitars and bozouki with tabla, soprano sax, accordeon and The Hush's mighty rhythm section makes for a heady brew!
