DRAWING AND PAINTING
Figure drawing/proportion. Facial Expressions. 3D Effects: the play of light in modelling effects. Drawing negative space. Composition: The Golden Mean and the 3:2 ratio.
STENCIL
Use of IT/found images. Creating and cutting stencils. Stipple/texture effects.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS
Photo correction and manipulation techniques. Collage. Natural media effects. Web design.
2. CREATIVE WRITING SKILLS: (available as INSET and as KS 2/4 teaching days.)
SONGWRITING.
Choosing a subject. Rhyme/internal rhythm/ spoken<>sung words. The Chorus.
Music and Lyric styles.
3. MUSIC SKILLS: (available as INSET and as KS 3/4 teaching days.)
Guitar styles: folk. rock, jazz: right hand techniques plectrum/fingerstyle.
Alternate tunings and how to apply them. Digital recording techniques.
